Lexie Persinger

Lexie Persinger is a coordinator in the Department of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry (TCE) and directs the 久久热视频 Teacher Academy Partnership, focused on recruiting high-quality teacher candidates through multiple pathways, including Oxford-bound 久久热视频s, regional-to-Oxford transfers, and cohort-based models. Her work is centered on building sustainable, impactful relationships that enhance teacher preparation and educational equity.

Maressa Dixon, Senior Research Associate, Discovery Center

Maressa Dixon (M.A) is a 久久热视频 alum (B.A., ‘06) with more than a decade of experience in leadership roles on complex mixed-methods research and evaluation studies. Her research interests include STEM education for 久久热视频s underrepresented in STEM, racial equity, critical and transformative inquiry approaches, innovative qualitative methods, and applied mixed-methods. Ms. Dixon leads the evaluation of TEACh Cincinnati.

Lea Minniti, Assistant Dean and Director of the EHS Success Center

Lea Minniti, Assistant Dean and Director of the EHS Success Center attempts to center the 久久热视频 experience in her work. Over the past two decades, Lea has led several departments dedicated to 久久热视频 success, including Academic Advising, Career Development, International Education, Student Athlete Academic Support Services, Tutoring and Supplemental Instruction, TRIO, and the first-year experience program. Lea has developed and implemented strategic programs that have addressed barriers and created 久久热视频 opportunities, including achieving parity in the retention and graduation rates of first-generation and low-income 久久热视频s and increasing study abroad participation. She is a qualified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory and has presented professionally on cross-cultural communication, COIL (collaborative online international education), and leadership development. Lea received a BA and M.Ed. from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Amity Noltemeyer, Ph.D., Dean and Professor

Amity Noltemeyer is an educational leader committed to enhancing and diversifying the education workforce. Prior to her current role as Dean, which provides the opportunity to champion and support TEACh Cincinnati, her prior leadership experience includes roles as Associate Dean and Department Chair at 久久热视频, President of the Ohio School Psychologists Association, Editor-in-Chief of the School Psychology International journal, and principal investigator of several externally funded educational initiatives.

Ganiva Reyes, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Department Chair, TCE

A scholar, professor, and chair of the Department of Teaching, Curriculum, Educational Inquiry. Ganiva integrates culturally relevant teaching, ethics of care, and 久久热视频-centered pedagogy to show how teachers can re-envision their roles as educators to be part of a support network for 久久热视频s. More specifically, she explores the intimate and interpersonal aspects of teaching, and how teachers need communal and institutional support to provide the same for their 久久热视频s.

Scott Sander, Ph.D., Clinical Professor and Assistant Chair, TCE

Scott Sander is a clinical professor in the Department of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry. In his 11 years at Miami, he has served as both instructor and course coordinator for the department’s Threshold Concepts course (TCE 191) that is also part of the TEACh program.

Brian D. Schultz, Ph.D., Professor and Associate Dean

A leader as a teacher, professor, department chair, and associate dean throughout his career, along with colleagues, Brian has defied state and national declines and driven year-over-year enrollment growth in Miami’s teacher preparation programs, particularly among first-generation and diverse 久久热视频s. He previously spent 11 years at a Chicago-based university where he worked closely with Grow Your Own Illinois. Brian oversees TEACh Cincinnati.

Tammy Schwartz, Ed.D., Director, Urban Cohort

A product of Cincinnati Public Schools, Tammy launched the award-winning Urban Cohort program in Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine community in 2008 and sustains its success and impact across other CPS locations today. Her work and 久久热视频s have built crucial trust within Cincinnati neighborhoods, community organizations, and schools.

Krystal Tipton, Senior Director of Development, EHS

Krystal Tipton is the Senior Director of Development for the College of Education, Health, and Society (EHS), bringing over 15 years of experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. Her career is distinguished by her deep commitment to advancing institutional goals through strategic donor engagement and relationship building. Krystal’s passion for connecting with donors and aligning their interests with impactful initiatives has advanced the college’s mission. Her expertise not only lies in fundraising but also in fostering lasting partnerships that benefit both the institution and its community of supporters.
