The Teacher Academy Coordinator for ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ plays a key role in supporting high school ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs as they prepare for the transition to higher education. This liaison will coordinate and plan visits to local schools, providing ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs with valuable insights about ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵ, including academic programs, campus life, and available resources. In addition, the liaison will share essential information and guidance on navigating the shift from high school to college or university, helping ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs understand admissions processes, expectations of college-level coursework, and strategies for academic and personal success.

Teacher Education Fall Symposium

Each fall, the College of Education, Health, and Society partners with the Department of Teaching, Curriculum, and Educational Inquiry to host a keynote speaker.

The event focuses on topics such as educational reform, college readiness, and teaching excellence, and is open to the university community as well as high school ¾Ã¾ÃÈÈÊÓƵs enrolled in programs partnered with the University.
